Master Board to Remove Amenities (Beach Already Gone!)
Based on a Survey Only, The Master Board has voted to REMOVE AMENITIES
of Parker Lakes. Less than half of the residents of Parker Lakes responded to a 'survey,'
NOT A VOTE of the overall community, and then the Master Board decided to eliminate the Beach
at the Master Pool AND the Golf Putting Green. I'm not sure if this was legal to do.
I believe that this reduces home values and re-sale value of our homes and condos.
I live here because this is a FAMILY community. Isn't it??
This is my opinion as I understand it. - A Nargi

The issue of removing the beach and putting green should be left up to a vote of the membership, not by a survey of how many use them. In the survey I would have said I never use the golf putting course , however if I where asked should it be removed I would say no way unless someone has a better plan for it. What is the plan ??

I remember the survey regarding the putting green and poolside beach. But I never dreamed the Master Association would use such an arbitrary document to eliminate these amenities. After all, what would it cost to replace these things? Or are we satisfied losing amenities just because they cost money to maintain? Anything worth keeping is worth maintaining - As homeowners we know that and agree to that. Let's not let the Master Association deface our community just because they don't want to spend the money to maintain things on common property. Enough!- Janet D.

Please do not remove the putting green, soon we will not have and amenities left except a pool.

I have resided in the Meadow at Parker Lakes since 1990 and am appalled at the way the current Master association has behaved. They seem to think they can make any modification, to our property, they want to without a legal vote. They have already removed the beach area , with only a 50% response from only a survey, from all of us. Next they are trying to remove the putting golf area...and replace it with grass!!! Granted we don't all use these amenities...but some of us do...The common area belongs to all of us!!!

They have taken away some of our amenitites...one of the very reasons lots of us purchaed our homes in Parker Lakes. They must replace the beach amenity with another one...they just can't decide to remove amenities!! And now they are giving away pieces of common areas to sub-divisions in Parker Lakes.

.It is not their's to give!! It is vital that you attend your association's monthly meeting and master association's meetings so you can keep up on what is going on... before all the amenities are gone.... Please pay attention..the value of our property is at stake... Arlene G.
